A'ha, talking about quality, I'm not sure if they are into that, but if quatity, that i'm sure of. Well the more admission, the more money they can make. Well this is actually a comment but its to long be posted on the previous matter posted by M.K.F (Editor: link added and author corrected).

I hope that our university will not join the rat race of taking more students and neglecting the quality of education.I'm not sure if they ever think about the problem they are about to face. With the lack of lecturers, limited apartment units, large quantity of students per class, dysfunction labs, etc...

If such problem they can't overcome, then i hope they're not thinking of increasing the number of student.Well there's nothing much we can do,if they are planning to do so,but at least, have the courtesy to think abt the problem the student will face, especially when we are talking quality of lecturers, and limited accomodation.

So,does quantity shows the quality of a university? Or do they try to fool the public.I fear that, the more student this university is going to take, there will definitely be a drop in students quality,if certain expect of improvement in management does not taken into consideration.More student means more facilities and work force needed.

Lets have a look at what Uniten have educate us about Quality, shall we.

"Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillfull execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternative" - Willa A. Foster.

Yup,you can see this quote on the biilboard at the COE (ground floor,in between the boys and girls toilet),and COIT college.

So basically,it was never an accident, but the result of a high intention. what high intentions? thats something we must ponder together.

I personally like the "sincere" part. Here, its the effort. Now lets ask them, how sincere are they in helping us? their sincerity in educating us? their sincere effort in fulfilling their original mission? (the 1st purpose uniten was created),etc. As for me,to a certain knowledge, sincerity can be measured and we can clearly see it through the effort they put to accomplish they job.

We can hear the word sincere being used many times by the TNC in the meeting with the student at MPH.He was telling us,if we are sincere in helping the university,we should get ourself involved in the SRC,but if we do sincere in helping our beloved university, how about them? Are they sincere in doing thier job? Or more holidays when more proposal are being hand over for approval?

"Intelligent direction",oh ok,so where are we heading? or more precise, where are Uniten heading? Bankruptcy? Quantity vs Quality? More bribery? etc3. only time will tell us.

"Skillfull execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternative" yup,we are leaving it to the skillfull people, making the wise choice for the betterment of our beloved university. So I guess, this shows that, the Master's and Phd's holders are learned and wise people.

One thing for sure, they have forgotten something, that is,to place the quote board at the Administation building,or maybe i havn't bump into it yet.Because for me,if the educator wants to educate us about this quality thing, they have to show it 1st,and i strongly suggest that they place more of those in admin, more specific tingkat 2,sebelum masuk pejabat akademik, just nice to place such quotes there.

Once again, lets think deeply here, are we producing quality graduates? or quantity but no quality? or quantity and quality? its up to the management to decide.Or just hope that its not a hanging quote to be looked at without pondering.

Only God knows.
