A good friend of mine once asked me, why UNITEN didn't have any student activity center where we can kill our time properly, maybe with one or two frame of pool or maybe a foosball match, just to fill the gap between classes. Well, i said that i also don't have any idea of why they didn't have one. To be honest, i also wondered why UNITEN does'nt have any student activity center? A place where we can just sit down and relax, take nap, have a proper discussions on projects, play board games, or in my friend word, to kill our time properly; instead of just sitting in KMC, surfing net, checking out profiles of chicks in friendster while listening to streaming audio's.



Hence, i urged you guys to bring a difference in UNITEN. Be a candidate in the next election, and vote for your chosen candidate. If there's still no election this year, do your part to push the elected student representative to do their work. Only we as student knows what do we need. Think as this is a chance for you to make things better. Maybe its hard for us to see the immediate effect, and maybe UNITEN admin would give us a really hard time, but as people say, ' no sacrifice, no victory', and to achieve what we want in our life, we need to sacrifice something. So then, come and stand up, join the line and bring UNITEN to a great leap forward.
